My name is Uma Williams and I’m a 20-something solo female traveler. I grew up outside of San Francisco and I was lucky enough to get to travel a good amount as a child (my dad is from Poland and my mom is from the Philippines).
After graduating college from UC Berkeley in 2010, I have had a string of part time jobs, but in 2012 I went to South Korea to teach English and it changed my life. Ever since then, I’ve been semi-nomadic and exploring the world as much as I can.
I created Visiting-There.com to help inspire and engage anyone who wants to add more traveling to their life. Traveling is truly addictive, and the more you do it, the more you want to just take more trips, and longer ones (at least I do!).
